Sound or Not is a festival organised and curated by Modelo62. Following the spirit from Mieko Shiomi’s text score piece “Boundary Music” (1963), this festival features performances that test, blur, and playfully transgress the boundaries of what music can be.
Across these days you’ll encounter music-theater, works from the wide canon of experimental music, and interdisciplinary pieces resulting from our collaborations with diverse makers.
Spend these days at the boundary with us, to explore the threshold between sound and non-sound, between music and everything else.
