Projects
Modelo62 functions as a laboratory for artistic experiments. We form close collaborations with composers and artists of various fields to create works that defy fixed categories. This is reflected in the ensemble’s large repertoire of interdisciplinary projects aimed at touching new audiences with contemporary music through a transformative experience. Our ultimate goal is to invite our public to a different way of perceiving music.

PRIMAL
Sól Ey
“Primal” invites the audience into the natural habitat of the “bass animals”, a primitive species represented by four large string instruments. As visitors or intruders, the audience’s actions directly affect the animals’ behaviour, creating an interactive and participatory experience. You will be free to move around the space and interact with the animals. This piece is being developed as part of the program “Nieuwe Makers” supported by the FPK, which focuses on talent development.
